Can you believe this bear is 13 years old?! YEP! It says "1995" on the label. It's an old one that I can't remember if I bought it or if I inherited it?! I guess it doesn't matter really....it's mine now! LOL! This card is made from a neat sketch off of Queen Kat Designs that you can find here. This was a fun way to really make this bear pop off the page! I used almost all SU items for this with the Ric Rac and the flowers (which are Primas) being the exceptions! Even the words are an SU rub on! I colored her with my Koh-I-Nor pencils and Gamsol. I say "her" since last time the bear was a "he"! Love the versatility of these stamps that you can change the look with just coloring don't you?!
So, why not give it a try?! I mean, if you read this today, and have time, link to her post! She'd love to see what you come up with!! So would I
Until next time....

that is too funny because one of my scrappy girlfriends is moving away and she gave me a few old SU sets and one was an adorable x-mas set with a bear pulling another bear on a sled and it is the same bear! I't was a 1996 design I think, who cares if it is retired, I'll find a way to make it fresh and new! Congrats on the queen Kat Dt! PS the color pencils and gamisol won't run printer ink from digio stamps as it is oul based and printer ink is water FYI

beary cute ;)
How cute is he!! How have you been? All is well here... Busy but good. No snow.. Yahoo!!
This is really cute Michelle! I like the colors you used and the adorable image!!!
She is so cute, and your colouring is so wonderful. Have you tried baby oil for blending instead of gamsol? Your cards would smell so lovely... :-)
Isn't it great when you still love the old stamps. I still have the first stamp I ever purchased about 10 years ago. I still love it and still use it from time to time.
Your bear is sweet on the pink background.
I think I have this set too! I'll have to pull it out and play.
